Things I Learned as a Kid

1. Imagination can take you anywhere.

2. There is no better feeling than being loved.

3. Running with feet that turn in is hard.

4. Running in leg braces is harder.

5. Don't battle with a wringer washer. It will win.

6. Sometimes you don't grow out of it.

7. Kids can be cruel, adults can be worse.

8. Strive to be unique.

9. Always do your best.

10. Your best wont always be perfect.

11. Join the club and try new things.

12. Don't let them see you cry. 

13. Being the fat kid can be lonely.

14. You create your own confidence.

15. You have to practice to be good.

16. You have to have passion to be great.

17. If you really want something go after it.

18. Gossip and drama are a waste of time.

19. Everyone has their own insecurities.

20 .Some people cheat to win.

21. Even parents have bad habits.

22. The Sears tower is not the water tower across the street from the local Sears.

23. You can't take your imaginary friends to kindergarten, (sorry C.O. & B.O.)

24. Mean girls leave scars.

25. People grow apart.

26. The bent arm hang and long jump are not going to be your "thing".

27. Growing up with cousins is fun.

28. Being the youngest child has its advantages. 

29. Sometimes you learn more when you aren't picked for the team.

30. You can sit close to the TV.

31. It's ok to color outside the lines but it's even better to start with a blank piece of paper.
