Over the last several weeks, we have had multiple homeowners come into our showroom with a surprisingly similar problem: a tiled shower failing in a relatively new home. These are not bathrooms that have simply reached the end of a long, useful life. In several cases, the shower is only a few years old. The tile may still look current and beautiful, but somewhere beneath that finished surface, the waterproofing system has failed—or was never properly installed in the first place.
